OMIKA MEHRA

Meet Omika, a driven professional with a strong academic background in Business Management and a Master's in Finance from ICMA Centre, University of Reading UK. Omika began her career in corporate advisory at Citibank before transitioning to her current role at RMBAY, where she has been working since its inception under the guidance of her father, Prem Mehra, a stalwart of the worsted woolen industry for over 50 years.

In addition to her corporate experience, Omika is also a successful entrepreneur, having founded a gifting and home decor business called PANOS. With her keen eye for design and her passion for creating beautiful spaces, Omika has built PANOS into a thriving business that reflects her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

With her impressive background and diverse skill set, Omika is a true asset to the business world and a leader in her field.

ASHIMA MEHRA

Ashima is a dedicated professional who works at RMBAY, and has gained valuable experience in her field by learning hands-on from her father, Prem Kumar Mehra, a pioneer in the worsted yarn industry. She has also pursued her passion for photography and completed a Master's degree in Fashion Photography from the prestigious London College of Fashion.

Ashima firmly believes in the philosophy that each day is an opportunity to learn something new. Her commitment to continuous learning has enabled her to stay ahead of the curve in her professional and personal life. As a professional photographer, she brings a creative and unique perspective to her work at RMBAY.

Ashima's journey as a professional is an inspiration for many, as she has successfully pursued her passion while gaining valuable experience in her chosen field. Her dedication, hard work, and commitment to learning serve as an excellent example for anyone looking to grow in their profession.

RUCHIKA MEHRA

Ruchika Mehra Kothari has pursued her passion for textiles and design. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The Sydenham College of Commerce, Mumbai, India.

Her interest in design led her to pursue a specialization in Sales & Marketing from The London School of Fashion. She then gained her first hands-on experience working with a Magazine House, Interiors India, which was an initiative by the Mahindra Group of Companies.

In 1995, Ruchika joined her father, Mr. Prem K Mehra, in setting up a new Joint Venture of a worsted textile unit with a Danish and a Taiwanese company. She was closely associated with the working of the textile unit and gained a large amount of hands-on work experience through the years. After taking a break to become a mother, Ruchika launched her own brand of scarves, stoles & shawls under the brand name of ‘Shawlart’ in the year 2002.

With the establishment of Mr. Mehra's own Textile Company, RMBAY in 2006, The Three Sisters were inducted into the family business. Ruchika works with the in-house yarns to create beautiful new developments in fabrics for stoles and shawls. She is also keen to extend the product line by introducing products like blankets and throws through recycling the waste generated from their processes. Her vision is to achieve maximum sustainability across the board and make RMBAY a GO GREEN venture.

Thanks to Mr. Mehra’s mentorship and guidance, The RAO Sisters have become a formidable all-ladies team running the business. With her expertise and dedication, Ruchika continues to drive the company forward and make a name for herself in the world of textiles.
